Held Hostage in My House is a mystery thriller that is all set to premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The movie is written and directed by Anna Elizabeth James, who previously helmed the psychological thriller Deadly Illusions (2021).

The film is also produced under her banner company Kiss and Tale Productions, alongside Richard Switzer, Julie Gause, Paul Luba, and Chad Verdi Jr serving as producers.

The story revolves around a single mother Dawn Van Brocklin, who wakes up to find herself trapped in her vacation rental house. She has no idea how she reached up there and must put the dots together and find out who might have done this. Among all the previous guests who have stayed there, someone is the imposter, which she must find out before it's too late.

2) Billy Zane as Dr. Walter

Billy Zane, who is most popularly known for playing the antagonist Caledon Hockley in Cameron's 1997 movie Titanic, plays the role of Dr. Walter in Held Hostage in My House. Billy first got recognition with his work in the 1989 psychological thriller Dead Calm.
