Horizon: An American Saga is set to be a four-installment Western American epic created by Yellowstone star Kevin Costner and Jon Baird. A dream project for the former, the series will be set around the American Civil War and was first envisaged by Costner in 1988.

“Chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American west.”

However, with Costner taking over directorial and producer duties in January 2022, it was converted into a series with two of the four movies already produced.
