While Celine Dion is a humungous pop icon, she is also privately a family person. It is no mystery that Dion absolutely adores her kids. Whether it's red carpet appearances or social media posts, Dion ensures everyone knows that her kids are her priority.

Celine shares three children with her late husband, René Angélil: René-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy Angélil. Besides being vocal about her love for them on social media, Dion has also often been found speaking lovingly about her sons during interviews.

For instance, during a conversation with People magazine in 2007, Celine Dion cleared the air about her priorities, mentioning that her kids came first and then her singing career. She said:

Over nine years, the couple welcomed three sons, René-Charles Angélil (born in 2001), and Nelson and Eddy Angélil (twins born in 2010). All kids born to Dion and Angélil were born via in-vitro fertilization.

1) René-Charles Angélil

Born on January 25, 2001, in Loxahatchee, Florida, René-Charles was the first child Dion welcomed with her husband via in-vitro fertilization. When he was born, Dion was 32 and her husband was 59.

Following his birth, Dion took the opportunity to speak about her son on several occasions. In a conversation with People back in 2006, she spoke about the comfort she receives from doing the mundane tasks that come as a part of being a mother and said:

"It relaxes me to read stories to him, do finger painting, play with Play-Doh. I think people have a hard time imagining I can have a normal life, but I do."

Now that René-Charles is all grown up (23 years old), he has followed in his mother's footsteps and become a singer. In 2018, he released two songs on SoundCloud, which became instant hits in the platform's R&B & Soul New & Hot chart.

In 2021, Charles released an EP titled Casino.5 which was a hit among the masses. Following its success, Dion shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram congratulating her son for his success. She said:

"I'm so proud of my son. My love for him is so strong, and it touches me deeply that one of his passions is also one of mine."

2) Nelson and Eddy Angélil

Nelson and Eddy Angélil are twin brothers born to Dion and her husband on October 23, 2010, in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to reports they were born after several failed attempts at in-vitro-fertilization and a miscarriage. Therefore, needless to say, Dion holds the twins pretty close to her heart. The twins are currently 13 years old and pursuing their education.

Dion often puts up posts on her Instagram with their pictures expressing her love for them. One of the most heartwarming posts she made about them dates back to 2020 when she wished them on their 10th birthday. She wrote on Instagram:

“Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years. You make me, your big brother and your Dad, who is for sure watching over you, so very proud. Happy birthday my beautiful boys! We love you so very much.”
