The man in the red suit with the power to swing across buildings, better known as Spider-Man, is one of the most iconic and popular superheroes of the 21st century. Over the years he has been the subject of several movies, merchandise, and comics. All this makes him one of the most bankable superheroes out there.
The film franchise started in 2002 when director Sam Raimi built a trilogy with Tobey Maguire as the superhero.
