Taron Egerton has rapidly become one of the most-known names across Britain and the rest of Hollywood, thanks to his immense talent and personality, which has helped the 35-year-old achieve a lot more than most actors do at his age. But his journey started early, much earlier than most people as well. By the time he was 25, he was already portraying serious characters in biographical films, a trend he continued with over the years.

However, the actor always knew the responsibilities and weights that came with being an A-list actor. The Welsh star was aware of this nearly a decade ago when he first discussed how he would like to avoid the weight of stardom and would want to continue being the private person he is, without having to maintain a public image akin to megastars like Leonardo Di Caprio.

Speaking to The Guardian in a 2016 interview, Taron Egerton had said:

"A part of everyone wants to be Leonardo DiCaprio, don’t they?...But then a big part of me recognises that I’m a very private person – someone who really likes to go to the pub and get silly with my mates. I don’t want to worry about maintaining an air of decorum that’s not natural to me."

In the same interview, the then-27-year-old actor went on to discuss how he often got lonely and how he looked forward to building a home and a family with people he would want to be around.

Taron Egerton, unfortunately, is in a line of work where things are rarely stable. The actor, in the same interview where he discussed the liabilities of getting famous or popular, discussed how he was still lonely then and what he wanted in the future.

He was asked this in the interview with The Guardian, and he responded positively to the question of whether he gets lonely often. The actor elaborated:

"Yeah. Massively...I don’t want to start getting my little violin out, but travelling across the world constantly and staying in hotels is tough, man. I think it’s probably easier if you have a partner, but I’ve been single for three years now."

He went on to expand on how he felt having a unit around him would make things significantly easier for him. He added:

"I find the lack of structure difficult, but it’s a very first-world problem. Part of me looks forward to a time when I have a family and a partner and I take less of my nourishment from social occasions. Having a little unit around me will make my working life easier, because it is quite lonely otherwise."

Despite these challenges that the actor faced earlier, Taron Egerton continued to be a big force in the acting industry and has so far delivered many exciting movies that have made him a well-known name in Hollywood.
