Tom Holland has officially addressed all the speculation surrounding Spider-Man 4. During his appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on October 22, Holland confirmed the much-anticipated film and acknowledged his involvement in it when the host brought it
Holland's confirmation of Spider-Man 4 comes days after the actor disclosed that he had been reading scripts for the new movie alongside Zendaya, who plays MJ in the Spider-Man franchise.
While speaking with the host of the Rich Roll Podcast on October 18, Holland shared that the draft scripts and the scripts that were brought to him and Zendaya till now gave them great joy as they were enthusiastic about the direction their characters would be heading.

Tom Holland confirms Spider-Man 4 on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon
The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon is often the ideal place for movie stars to come in with shocking revelations, some pertaining to their body of work and some outside of it. In the recent episode of the talk show, the focus was on the former.
While promoting his non-alcoholic beverage brand, BERO, and discussing his previous and upcoming projects, Tom Holland was subtly questioned by Fallon about Spider-Man 4, which briefly caught Holland off guard. However, he was compelled to answer under pressure and excitement and his response did not disappoint the audience.
Fallon tried confirming with Holland about the new movie by remarking:
"There is some chatter that Spider-Man 4 is happening and that you'll be back as Spider-Man."
To which Holland smiled, shook his head, and said:
"What do you wanna know?"
When Fallon asked if Holland could confirm the movie on The Tonight Show, he answered in affirmative and said:
It's happening!
He also added that filming for the movie is scheduled to start next summer and that " everything's good to go" and that they were "nearly there." He also expressed his excitement for the project remarking that he could not wait for things to go on floors.

While appearing on the October 18, 2024, episode of the Rich Roll Podcast, Tom Holland among a list of other things, was asked about Marvel's propensity towards having him onboard for the new Spider-Man 4, by host Rich Roll. Holland excitedly answered positively and revealed that he intends to be a part of not just one but, several other Spider-Man projects in the future.
He revealed that things were happening and a script for the movie was being put in place. He also revealed that he and Zendaya were reading a lot of scripts and they were really happy with how things looked, despite the script being mostly in the draft format. He said:
"We have a creative and a pitch and a draft which is excellent and I read it 3 weeks ago and it really like lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room, like this is a real movie worthy of like the fans’ respect. But there’s a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going but it’s exciting and I’m really really excited about it."
With Spider-Man 4, Tom Holland is set to become the first actor to be featured in 4 standalone Spider-Man films in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
