"It's tough out there" - When Jamie Foxx revealed that his daughter dislikes him dating younger girls in an interview

The Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is known for his hard-partying lifestyle in Hollywood. He famously hosted house parties in his Los Angeles home which were attended by celebrities like Kanye West, P. Diddy, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, and others. Moreover, the actor has a long history of dating younger women and girls, who are sometimes in their 20s.

The 57-year-old Collateral star has revealed that his daughter, Corinne Foxx, hates his partying lifestyle and the fact that he goes out with much younger girls. On June 24, 2017, Foxx appeared on The Graham Norton Show and talked about how he still goes clubbing. He jokingly added that it's tough being surrounded by "younger girls" and said,

"It's tough out there. I am getting older, but people think I am younger because I hang out with Kanye… so I see younger girls. It's terrible."

In the same interview, Jamie Foxx also recalled that he once ran into his daughter's school friends outside a nightclub in Los Angeles and swiftly changed his mind about going inside.

In 2015, Foxx shared that he was dating a young white girl in her early 20s. The then-47-year-old shared an incident when his daughter called him out for his dating habits after meeting his much younger girlfriend and said,

"My daughter is like, 'Really dad?' She says, 'I’m on my way to school. Should I drop her off for 6th period?' It was like that, ......you’re still fly and young, at the same time, you are over 40."

The 57-year-old actor and comedian has never been married, choosing to lead a bachelor lifestyle instead. He has two daughters, Corinne and Anelise, from two different women. In 1994, Foxx welcomed Corinne with his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline. In 2008, he embraced fatherhood again after his girlfriend, psychotherapist Kristin Grannis, gave birth to their daughter Anelise.

In his memoir Act Like You've Got Some Sense, published in October 2021, Jamie Foxx shared his thoughts about marriage by writing:

"I've just never been convinced that marriage was a good idea for me. I've had friends that have great marriages, others not so much. And it never seemed like marriage was necessary to raise my children in a safe and loving atmosphere."

Not much is known about Foxx's dating history. His most high-profile relationship was with the actor Katie Holmes, who is a decade younger than him. The two stars allegedly dated from 2013 to 2019, following Holmes's messy divorce from Tom Cruise.

Foxx has also been romantically linked to actor Leila Arcieri after they walked the red carpet together at the 2005 Golden Globes. In 2019, he was rumored to be dating the 19-year-old singer Sela Valve, but Foxx insisted that she was just an artist working for his record label.

In December 2024, People Magazine reported that Foxx had been dating Alyce Huckstepp since August 2023. Alyce, a former fitness instructor, is 27 years younger than the Baby Driver star.

Jamie Foxx starred in Netflix's latest action comedy film, Back in Action, released on January 17, 2025. The film is directed by Seth Gordon, who co-wrote the script with Brendan O'Brien. It also marked Cameron Diaz's comeback in films, since she last appeared in 2014's musical comedy Annie.

In Back in Action, Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz play former CIA operatives, Matt and Emily, who go off the grid to start a family together. However, they are drawn back into the world of espionage to defeat the terrorist Balthazzar Gor, a Polish KGB agent, and his mercenary group Volka.

In addition to its lead stars, the film’s cast also includes Andrew Scott, Kyle Chandler, Jamie Demetriou, Glenn Close, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Tom Brittney, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, Bashir Salahuddin, etc, in supporting roles.

Foxx also served as the film's executive producer along with Tim Lewis, Brendan O'Brien, Datari Turner, and Bergen Swanson. Back in Action received mostly mixed reviews from critics upon its release.
