Avery Graves is a skilled CIA agent. When her husband David is taken hostage by a cruel terrorist group led by Konrad Breznov, her whole world turns upside down. The kidnappers want Avery to steal the highly secret Canary Black file, which is a digital weapon that could destroy the world's infrastructure and cause a lot of damage.
But Avery doesn't know that the file is much more dangerous than she thought and that it will have bigger effects than she thought.
As Avery is bound to run against the clock, she finds out some shocking facts, including her husband's scary secret. David is not a victim; he is being possessed by an assassin named Kali, who planned his own kidnapping to trick Avery into giving him the file.
