Directed by Jordan Peele and starring Lupita Nyyong’o, Us is a psychological horror film about Adelaide (Lupita) and her family, attacked by a group of doppelgängers known as ‘Tethered.’ The film was a huge success, and Lupita’s performance was very much appreciated.

Even though it is a horror film, it explores themes of haves and have-nots and a literal above-below depiction of normal humans and their shadowy doppelgängers. Like The Platform 2, therefore, the movie Us invokes a similar feeling.
