My Spy: The Eternal City was released on Amazon Prime Video in the United States on July 18, 2024. For the uninitiated, the American spy comedy film is a direct sequel to My Spy, released in 2020.
The plot of My Spy: Eternal City chronicles JJ and Sophie, with the latter convincing the former to accompany her on her school trip to Italy, where through a change of circumstances the duo gets involved in a terror act aimed at the Vatican.
The 2024 film brings back My Spy's original cast including Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal, and Ken Jeong. Parisa Fitz-Henley who played Kate, Sophie's mother in the 2020 movie has not been listed in the film's cast.

1) Dave Bautista
Dave Bautista plays J.J., a distinguished CIA agent and friend to Sophie after the incidents of the first film. In the second film, J.J. and Chloe continue to share a good friendship with Chloe even asking him to come with her for their school trip to Italy.
Dave Bautista is a full-time actor, retired professional wrestler, and former MMA fighter. As a wrestler and MMA fighter, Bautista has achieved several feats in his career. As an actor, some of his most famous projects include the Guardians of the Galaxy movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the last two Avengers installments( 2014-2023). Bautista's other prominent projects include Dune (2021) and Dune 2(2024).
2) Chloe Coleman
Chloe Coleman reprises her role of Sophie from My Spy in My Spy: The Eternal City. Compared to the first film, Sophie is a bit older now and apparently wiser, as depicted in the trailer for the movie. She convinces J.J. to accompany her to Italy, a representation of the strong bond the two share.
Since Chloe is a young actor, she has fewer credited projects in comparison to the others on the list. Some of her most important pieces of work include Gunpowder Milkshake(2021), Big Little Lies(2017-2019), and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves(2023).
3) Kristen Schaal
Kristen Schaal reprises her role as Bobbi, J.J.'s go-to tech specialist and a good friend in My Spy: The Eternal City. Bobbi provides much-needed support to J.J. during times of need.

4) Ken Jeong
Ken Jeong returns to the screen as David Kim, who serves as J.J.'s boss at the CIA. His character adds a lot of comedic relief to the movie, making his comeback quite iconic.
Actor and stand-up comedian Ken Jeong is one of the most popular faces out there. His shot to prominence in Hollywood came with the Hangover movies. Following the success of the trilogy, Ken became a household name appearing in projects such as Community(2009-2015) and Crazy Rich Asians(2018).
