Plot of the movie

In Carry-On, LAPD officer Elena Cole looks into the strangely burned remains of Olek and Yuri's greenhouse while also looking into a strange 911 call from LAX. When she finds the word "Novichok" on Olek's watch, she calls the FBI, but she runs into a fake Agent Alcott, who almost kills her.

Cole meets Kopek after defeating the impostor. He tells her to look closely at Flight 1850's passengers because he thinks one of them is the Traveler with Novichok in their carry-on luggage. But her blue-haired partner sends her to Flight 0610, which is carrying Congresswoman Grace Turner, who is very important to the Defense for Threatened Democracies Act.

The Traveler wants to influence lawmakers by killing Grace and other passengers with nerve gas. Kopek cleverly switches the nerve agent mechanism, which leads to a fight where he kills the Traveler by grabbing the vial.

Flight 0610 returns safely to LAX and Grace is still alive. In the end, Kopek is praised as a hero. He rebuilds his life with his family and clears his name, and even his enemies commend him for his bravery.
