Tom Cruise brought some Hollywood flair to the Paris Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11, as he jumped off Stade de France before skydiving to a Hollywood sign to hand over the Games to Los Angeles for 2028.
In his typical movie star fashion, Cruise jumped off the roof of France's biggest stadium and landed on stage as the crowd cheered. It was part of the handoff ceremony for the 2028 LA Games, but the Mision Impossible star's action didn't stop there.
He also hopped on a motorbike, the Olympic flag in tow, to ride out of Stade de France and across Paris streets before driving into a plane, which was supposed to bring him to LA.
Tom Cruise's stunt, including his touchdown on the Hollywood sign and attaching the five Olympic rings to the famous landmark, made the rounds on social media. Fans were quick to comment on the Hollywood-esque stunt, with one calling him a "real legend."
"A real legend right there! P.S. B*lls of steel," a commenter wrote on X.

Tom Cruise has been a regular on the sidelines during the Paris Olympics
Before stealing the show at the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympics in the French capital, Tom Cruise was also regularly seen at the sideline of the Paris Games.
The actor was one of the many Hollywood stars who attended the opening ceremony on July 26, which kicked off with a lavish boat parade in the Seine.
Cruise was also spotted attending several competitions throughout the Paris Olympics, including the historic gold medal match between the USA and Brazil's women's football team on August 10.
He was spotted at the Parc des Princes in a white polo with tailored grey trousers, animatedly cheering for Team USA, who topped the podium.
The movie star also joined the star-studded crowd to watch Simone Biles's return to the Olympic stage at the Bercy Arena on the second day of the Paris Games.
Also in attendance were Lady Gaga, who delivered a musical act at the opening ceremony, Mother's Instinct actress Jessica Chastain, and Snoop Dogg.
