The first teaser for Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth Captain America film, was released by Marvel Studios on their official social media accounts on July 12. The film that stars Anthony Mackie as Captain America/Sam Wilson sees the Marvel superhero take on the United States government once more as this time he battles against the ideals that are proposed by President Thunderbolt Ross who is being played by Harrison Ford.

Alongside that, the trailer for Captain America: Brave New World also sees President Ross finally transform into the Red Hulk by the end of the trailer, hinting that he might be one of the primary antagonists of the film.

Seeing that Captain America has always had issues with the government in the past, the trailer hints that the main conflict of the film will be born out of the President trying to make the mantle of "Captain America" into a military position once more.

You will be able to check out Captain America: Brave New World directed by Julius Onah when it is released in theatres on February 14, 2025.

The trailer for Captain America: Brave New World begins with Sam Wilson meeting President Ross. This is the first glimpse we get to see of Harrison Ford as he replaced William Hurt in the role after he passed away in March, 2022. The trailer then sees Ross propose the idea of turning Captain America into a military position once more but with Sam Wilson disagreeing on that idea.

Given that Captain America 4 is a sequel to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where John Walker took on the mantle and bad things ensued, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Sam Wilson to be against the idea. The trailer then features Carl Lumbly's Isaiah Bradley shooting at President Ross during an event, and Wilson investigating into the matter.

We get to see brief glimpses of the unknown character played by Giancarlo Esposito, and a few action scenes that see Sam Wilson use the iconic shield while President Ross tells him in the background that he isn't Steve Rogers. The trailer then ends with a brief glimpse of Red Hulk catching the Captain America shield and throwing it onto the ground teasing an action scene between the two.

In the comics, Thadeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross turns himself into the Red Hulk following his daughter Bett Ross' death. He would drain the energy off from Hulk's body which would turn him into the Red Hulk, and he would be able to turn into the monster whenever he wanted to.

Who stars in Captain America: Brave New World?

Alongside Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson/Captain America, Harrison Ford's President Ross, and Carl Lumbly's Isaiah Bradley, the film will also star an array of returning cast members from previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Most notably, Tim Blake Nelson will be reprising his role as Samuel Sterns for the first time since The Incredible Hulk and will become the villain known as The Leader.

Alongside that, Danny Ramirez will be reprising his role as Joaquin Torres after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but only this time he will be putting on the Falcon wings as well. Liv Tyler's Betty Ross is rumored to appear in the movie as well.
