Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis's children recently provided clarification behind his worrying tweet, which came shortly after the death of Warwick's beloved wife, Samantha Davis. Annabelle and Harrison Davis, on behalf of their father, expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support received during this challenging time and apologized for any distress caused.

"Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media. He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison x."

Warwick Davis's children address public concern

On April 21, 2024, at 10 am local time, Warwick Davis wrote a tweet that caused concern among his followers. He jotted a straightforward line, followed by a heartbroken emoji,

"I'm done here, Sgning off."

The tweet garnered significant attention and concern among his 663200 X followers, as many asked, "What happened?" "I'm worried. What does this mean?" Many supported him, saying, "You are universally loved."

Therefore, his children stepped in to clarify Warwick's intention. They suggested that their father is taking a break from social media amid their mother's sudden demise. Many followers of Warwick affirmed his decision and supported him in this challenging time.

"The right decision. Embrace your family, know one is more important than. Condolences," one person commented.

On April 17, 2024, Lucasfilm, the television company, released a statement by Warwick Davis of him paying tribute to his wife. He said that Samantha was not only his wife but also his soulmate and best friend.

"My wife and soulmate, best friend. Devoted mother, My favourite human. My most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career has passed. The most open, warm person I have ever known," he shared in a statement.

He added that he misses "her hugs," and she has left a "huge hole" in their lives.

"Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs. She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes."

Reflecting on Samantha's influence in his life, Warwick Davis said that with her by his side, he knew he "could achieve anything." Calling it a "superpower," the 54-year-old English actor said,

"She instilled such confidence in me. With her by my side, I was sure I could achieve anything. It was like having a superpower. Without Sammy, there would have been no Tenable Quiz show, no Willow series. No Idiot Abroad Series 3."

The couple met on the set of the movie Willow in 1988 and got married in 1991. They have worked together on numerous projects, including Harry Potter. In June 2023, the couple celebrated their 32nd wedding Anniversary.

Warwick Davis and Samantha founded Little People UK, a charity platform to help individuals with dwarfism, in 2012. The charity also paid tribute to Samantha, calling her a "passionate advocate."

"Not only was Sammy a passionate advocate for the community, she was a friend to many, with a listening ear at any time and an endless positive spirit, we know this is going to be a huge loss to everyone and we want you to know we will be here to support," the charity said.

As per Australia News, Samantha had achondroplasia, a genetic condition of a bone disorder that causes disproportionate dwarfism. Meanwhile, Warwick was born with Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), a sporadic genetic form of dwarfism.

The reason for her demise is unknown. However, as per Lucasfilm, Samantha experienced a decline in her ability to move around easily in recent years.
