Tom Holland launched his new brand of non-alcoholic beer, Bero, in New York on Thursday night, October 24, 2024. His girlfriend, Zendaya, was his date for the night. But when the two arrived at the event, paparazzi and other fans looking for selfies swarmed the Euphoria star while she was signing autographs.

When Tom Holland saw the chaos, as seen in clips from the event that circulated online, he quickly broke through the crown barrier to pull Zendaya out of the crowd and into safety. The video quickly went viral, with fans praising the actor for his protective attitude.

A Reddit user, @Mariposita48, gushed over how sweet of a couple Zendaya and Tom Holland are and praised how the actor "respects and protects" her.

"Exactly! He respects and protects. Such a sweet couple," a Reddit user commented.

Many fans on social media praised Holland for being a "true MAN" and for exuding what some netizens call "positive masculinity."

"Tom Holland has FLAWLESS masculine energy," one X user commented.
"I feel like Tom Holland is such a good example of positive masculinity," a user on X chimed in.
"I may not have been well-acquainted with Mr. Holland's game, but he embodies what it means to be a true MAN. His unwavering spirit and commitment leave a lasting impression on everyone he encounters," another X user commented.

Other fans took to social media to gush over Holland being protective of Zendaya. They commented how she's "so lucky" to have a boyfriend like the Spider-Man star to help her do things she couldn't, like say no to swarming paparazzi.

"He is incredibly protective of her. Zendaya is so lucky to have a caring partner like Tom," another X user wrote.
"I think cuz Zendaya such a sweetheart that she doesn't know how to say no so it's prolly so refreshing for her to have a man say no for her lol. But what tf do I know lmfaooo," another X user said.

The real-life couple stunned at the Bero launch, wearing matching outfits in burgundy color. Holland sported a burgundy shirt paired with black pants and white Prada sneakers, while the actress paired her custom-fitted Louis Vuitton dress with shiny black Louboutin pumps.

Tom Holland recently shared rare comments about him and Zendaya, like reading the Spider-Man 4 script together

Tom Holland and Zendaya tend to keep their private life and relationship low profile. While they stay mindful of what they do and do not share publicly, the actor recently shared a glimpse of his and Zendaya's private life.

During his October 17 appearance in The Rich Roll podcast, the Spider-Man star said that he takes pride in helping his girlfriend with some home repairs. Tom Holland said that he built Zendaya cupboards and a new fitted wardrobe in her house. He said:

"If something breaks in Zendaya's house, I take huge pride in fixing it."

Holland also shared something that made him and Zendaya "bounce around the living room"—reading the script for the fourth installment of Spider-Man. He said:

"Zendaya and I sat and read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room like this is a real movie worthy of the fans' respect."

The couple starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 before collaborating again in the second and third Spider-Man movies in 2019 and then in 2021. Zendaya plays Holland's love interest, MJ, in all 3 movies.

Despite romance rumors since their first movie together, they remained close friends for years until photos of them kissing in 2021 went viral.
