Justin Baldoni's main attorney, Bryan Freedman, doubled down on alleged evidence against Blake Lively in a new statement. Back on January 3, 2025, Freedman told NBC in an interview that they are publicly releasing all text messages between Baldoni and Lively as they proceed with a countersuit against the actress.

Four days later, on Tuesday, January 7, Freedman shared a new statement via People, accusing Blake Lively of "bullying" and that they have evidence of this "pattern" of behavior from the actress, which they will release soon. He said:

"We are releasing all of the evidence which will show a pattern of bullying and threats to take over the movie."

Bryan Freedman's latest statement comes as Lively, who starred in It End With Us with Baldoni, officially filed a lawsuit against the actor, alleging s*xual harassment and a retaliatory public smear campaign against her. Baldoni's publicists and producing partners were also named in the suit.

Blake Lively's team first lodged their complaint on December 20, 2024, in California, but officially filed the lawsuit with many of the same allegations in New York federal court on December 31, 2024.

Justin Baldoni's lawyer responds to Blake Lively's legal team's statement in the ongoing legal battle

On Monday, January 6, Lively's legal team said in a statement to People that her "serious claims of s*xual harassment and retaliation" are "backed by complete facts." Her attorney's statement further reads:

"This is not a 'feud' arising from 'creative differences' or a 'he said/she said' situation. As alleged in Ms. Lively's complaint, and as we will prove in litigation, Wayfarer [Studios] and its associates engaged in unlawful, retaliatory astroturfing against Ms. Lively for simply trying to protect herself and others on a film set."

Her lawyer's statement also accused Baldoni and his team of using the classic tactic of victim blaming to "distract from allegations" of misconduct.

On January 7, Bryan Freedman, lawyer to Justin Baldoni, replied via a statement to People that Lively's claims that his client was "weaponizing the media" was "painfully ironic" before accusing her team did the attack on Baldoni. He said:

"Her own team orchestrated this vicious attack by sending The New York Times grossly edited documents prior to even filing the complaint."

Justin Baldoni's attorney further referenced their plan to release all of the evidence they have, which will be incriminating for Blake Lively, before accusing her again of being a "bully." He further said:

"None of this will come as a surprise because consistent with her past behavior Blake Lively used other people to communicate those threats and bully her way to get whatever she wanted. We have all the receipts and more."

While Justin Baldoni's team is yet to make true of their plan to file a countersuit against Lively, they had already sued The New York Times back on December 31, 2024, for $250 million. They accused the publication of "promissory fraud and breach of implied-in-fact contract," further claiming that The NY Times "coordinated a smear campaign with Lively to tarnish Baldoni's reputation.

Justin Baldoni's camp further alleged that Ryan Reynolds "aggressively berated" him for allegedly fat-shaming his wife during a meeting in January 2024.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more news and updates on Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni and his impending countersuit.
