Mandy Moore reveals name of newborn baby as actor welcomes third child with Taylor Goldsmith

Mandy Moore, known for her role in This Is Us, welcomed her third child with husband Taylor Goldsmith. On Wednesday, September 25, Moore shared the news on Instagram and introduced their daughter Louise Everett Goldsmith. The newborn is the third addition to their family, following two sons.

The singer-actor shared a black and white photo of herself cradling baby Louise on the hospital bed as she exchanges an elated smile with her husband.

Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season. She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are. Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time," Moore wrote in the caption.

Mandy Moore married singer-songwriter Taylor Goldsmith on November 18, 2018. The couple welcomed their eldest son August on February 20, 2021, and their second son Oscar on October 21, 2022.

They announced their third pregnancy in June 2024, by sharing a heartwarming photo of their two sons wearing T-shirts with the words "Big" and "Middle" printed on them. Moore referenced her This Is Us character, who also has three children, and wrote, "Sometimes life imitates art."

She followed the announcement with: "The third in our own Big Three is coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister."

In July Mandy Moore shared that her third pregnancy was the most challenging. In an Instagram story, she posted a mirror selfie, revealing her baby bump and wrote:

"Is it September yet? Feeling very grateful to my body AND this pregnancy has been the hardest by far… simply because chasing two toddlers is not for the faint of heart."

The So Real hitmaker has been candid about her motherhood journey. In 2021, she revealed that she visited a fertility doctor after being diagnosed with endometriosis, which made her worry that she might not have children. However, before undergoing surgery, she found out she was pregnant with her first child.

Moore often praises how supportive Taylor Goldsmith has been as a partner and father.

"I feel incredibly understood and supported," Moore told PEOPLE after her engagement to Goldsmith. "I found the right person, and I feel like we can handle anything together."

On the work front, last year Mandy Moore took the voice-over role for Rapunzel in Disney's Lego Disney Princess: The Castle Quest and Once Upon a Studio.

Additionally, she has taken an interest in advocacy work. She has been vocal about supporting maternal health awareness, particularly after experiencing her challenges during pregnancy.
