After years of waiting, Marvel Studios has released the first official poster for Thunderbolts*, MCU's first-ever villain team-up movie. The poster was released today along with the teaser trailer, giving a sneak peek into the action-packed movie.

The poster released by Marvel looks intense, featuring multiple anti-hero protagonists from the MCU, like the Winter Soldier, Red Guardian and Yelena Belova, who have come together in a seemingly chaotic pose, hinting at the powerhouse that the movie is going to be.

However, as the poster started making rounds on social media, fans could not help but notice its resemblance to the popular Seth Rogan apocalyptic comedy, This is the End.

Is there really any resemblance between the posters of This is the End and Thunderbolts*?

When Marvel Studios revealed the poster of Thunderbolts* today, fans started commenting on how the poster looks eerily familiar. Indeed, it gives a sense of deja vu, as the poster has an uncanny similarity with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg's apocalyptic satirical comedy, This is the End.

The Thunderbolts* poster features Florence Pugh's Yelena in a contemplative but bored pose. She's surrounded by Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost, Wyatt Russel's US Agent, David Harbour's Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster, Lewis Pullman's Bob and Sebastian Stan's Bucky, who all seem to be engaged in a chaotic tussle with each other.

This is the End's poster too features a similar mood, where the featured actors, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson engaged in a similar chaotic tussle with each other.

Fans have been comparing the two posters on Twitter and Reddit, drawing similarities between them. Some have even compared the Marvel poster to Sons of Anarchy Season 6 poster or Dolittle's poster where Robert Downey Jr. features in a similar contemplative pose as Pugh.

As of now, there's no word on whether there will be any plot or theme resemblances between the two movies.
