Megan Fox reveals she is pregnant in artistic Instagram post

Megan Fox is expecting another baby, her first one with finance Machine Gun Kelly. The 38-year-old actress shared the news of her pregnancy on social media via an artistic photoshoot debuting her baby bump. In an Instagram post on Monday, November 11, 2024, the Jennifer's Body star shared photos announcing the new addition to her family.

The first picture shows her covered in oil from the neck down while cradling her growing bump. In case of any confusion, Fox made sure to include a picture of a positive First Response pregnancy test in the second photo. In the caption, the actress wrote:

"Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back."

The caption seemingly referenced the miscarriage Megan Fox had previously experienced.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are expecting their first child after a "difficult" miscarriage

After meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly started dating in 2020. The rockstar proposed two years later with two engagement rings with magnetic bands of thorns, which he helped design with Stephen Webster. The ring featured Fox's birthstone and a diamond forming an "obscure heart" at the center.

However, family life hasn't been just happy times for the couple as they experienced heartbreak when the actress experienced a miscarriage. MGK first hinted about the pregnancy loss during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards in 2022. He dedicated his Twin Flame performance to their "unborn child."

Megan Fox didn't comment on the miscarriage news publicly, but she confirmed it in her poetry book called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, which was released in November 2023. The Transformers star wrote about losing her baby in one of the poems, writing:

"Heartbeat in my womb/ I want to hold your hand/ hear your laugh."

At another point, she continued:

"But now I have to say goodbye/ I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest/ as they rip you from my insides."

She subsequently talked about the miscarriage during an interview with WWD in November 2023 following her poetry book's release. She recalled the "tragic" moment in her life, saying:

"That love [for MGK] element really made this miscarriage really tragic for me and left me with a lot of grief and a lot of suffering."

It wasn't the first pregnancy loss for Megan Fox, as the actress also revealed in the interview that she had an ectopic pregnancy when she was younger. That said, the loss of her baby with MGK was still a "difficult" one, which urged her to put it "into a lot of writing."

The Subservience actress said that MGK writing songs about the miscarriage made her realize that she could also address the issue publicly. She said:

"He's [MGK] written about them in his albums as well, he wrote a couple of songs about the miscarriage. So it just felt like something that I could address publicly because it's been addressed in one way through him, so I gave a space to express as well."

The actress is already a mother of three, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, whom she shares with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green. As for the rapper, MGK shares one daughter, Casie, with his ex Emma Cannon.
