A video clip of an X user watching Carry-On posted earlier today, December 17, 2024, has gone viral on the social media platform. In the clip, the user of the account @FearedBuck noticed two different baby actors in different scenes in the recently released Netflix thriller movie.

In one scene, a woman in a beige trench coat is holding a brown-haired baby, while several scenes later, the baby in her arms appears bald. The user captioned the video:

"Netflix really thought no one would notice this mistake"

Over 800K netizens have since watched the video clip, with many reacting to the error in the comments section. One netizen wrote:

"Plot twist for real"

Many others chimed in, with one commenting that the child in the second scene looked confused because he didn't know why he was going on a plane.

"That child confused cause they weren’t in the last scene. bro didn’t even know why was he going on a plane lmaoo," commented an X user.
"it’s just a different camera angle," replied another one.
"Bro switched teams mid game," wrote a third one.

Meanwhile, others talked about how the user in the video clip sounded like a documentary narrator.

"'Haired baby… a rarity at their age' Bro sounded like a documentary narrator," added another X user.
"Baby turned into Matt Damon," posted a fifth user.
"Nah she's just a really bad mom is all," commented a sixth one.

Carry-On dropped on the video-streaming platform last week, on December 13, 2024.

The entire action of Carry-On takes place at the LA International Airport

The plot of Carry-On revolves around Ethan Kopek, played by Taron Egerton, and the mysterious Traveler, portrayed by James Bateman. Ethan is a TSA officer at the LA International Airport who wants to become a cop but is rejected at the Police Academy.

On the eve of Christmas, Ethan and his girlfriend, Nora, who is an operations manager at the airport, plan a holiday for which they're to leave their respective shifts.

Kopek, who is in charge of the baggage-scanning lane, finds a mysterious earbud there. Through it, the Traveler communicates with him, threatening him to let a carry-on suitcase pass through without creating a scene, or Nora will be killed.

The Traveler is also at the airport, where he monitors Kopek secretly to watch his moves. Ethan tries to warn a colleague about what's going on using invisible ink, but the latter is killed by Traveler.

As the mysterious carry-on suitcase passes through the lane, Ethan finds out that it contains a chemical nerve agent bomb called Novichok. He figures out that the Traveler intends to trigger the device on air to kill thousands of passengers traveling to NYC that day.

As the movie progresses, Ethan, along with LAPD detective Elena Cole, decodes the truth. They realize that the carry-on is meant to board a flight to Washington, DC, where the Traveler's target is Congresswoman Grace Turner.

The Traveler checks the chemical bomb, which is now in a larger suitcase, on a DC flight. However, Ethan volunteered to board the flight and disarm it on air. A fight ensues between the two in mid-air, where Kopek ends up locking the Traveler in a refrigerator, leading to his death.

In the movie's final scene, Ethan, Nora, and their child arrive at the airport for the Christmas holidays a year later, with Kopek putting his LAPD badge in the scanning tray.

Following the movie's release, Taron Egerton was interviewed by Variety, where he called Carry-On an ultimate what-would-you-do movie, adding.

"I think it’s obviously got inspiration from 'Die Hard,' a movie that’s made in homage and in the spirit of that film. I hope in the same way that 'Twisters' felt like an affectionate throwback in many ways, 'Carry-On' finds that same place in audiences’ hearts."

Interested viewers can watch Carry-On on Netflix.
