After its highly acclaimed premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Emilia Perez's star Selena Gomez has seemingly confirmed when the movie will arrive in theatres and on streaming platforms. As per a recent post by the pop star-turned-actor, Emilia Perez will make its theatrical debut in French cinemas on August 21, 2024.
The star also confirmed in a social media post that the movie will be arriving on Netflix on November 13, 2024, in the US and the UK. According to reports, the movie will also premiere in select theatres around the world this fall, but fans have no information yet on when or where.
Emilia Perez reportedly received an 11-minute standing ovation at its premiere in Cannes and also bagged important nominations like Best Actress and Best Soundtrack. Gomez, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz won the Best Actress award at Cannes.
