Tobey Maguire raised some eyebrows online after being spotted with model-actress Lily Chee at Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July celebration.

Lily Chee, a budding model and a new face to many, briefly appeared as a young Elektra in a 2016 episode of the Netflix series Daredevil. Both Tobey, 49, and Chee, 20, donned all-white ensembles. They were photographed exiting the white party together as Tobey Maguire appeared to be guiding Lily with his hand on the small of her back.

The young actress shared snippets from the white party on Instagram.

Although no words about a romance between them have been reported, fans speculated Lily Chee might be the Spider-Man actor’s new love interest. The significant age gap between the two further churned everyone’s thoughts and curiosity. X user @21metgala posted two snaps of Tobey and Lily from Rubin's party, sparking a plethora of reactions.

One user noted Tobey's first Spider-Man movie was released in 2002, a year before Chee was born in 2003.

One person expressed their genuine confusion and inquired whether Tobey and Chee were seeing each other or they were just photographed during a casual interaction.

Another person mentioned Tobey's friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio, who is also known to date women much younger than him.
