"Thank goodness for Zoom"- Jessica Biel talks about making things work with Justin Timberlake when he's on tour

Actress, producer, and mom of two Jessica Biel, who shares sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 3, with Justin Timberlake, recently got candid about the realities of their marriage, especially now that the singer is away from their home and family and is going on tour.

The 42-year-old recently appeared in an episode of The View where she reflected on the commitment and effort required to maintain a marriage. She mentioned that it’s “a work in progress” and thanked communication apps that make it easier to stay connected with her husband while he’s away.

“It’s always a work in progress. It’s constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time when we can connect. Thank goodness for Zoom and FaceTime.”

The movie star further stated:

“For traveling families—well, for everybody, really—but for parents who are gone a lot, that’s been really helpful.”

Married since October 2012, Biel has been left at home with the kids while Timberlake goes on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour after the singer’s five-year hiatus. While the actress and the kids have joined the singer for a few shows, Biel mentioned that she has her own commitments.

“We’re going to get through it” — Jessica Biel shares more as the couple spends summer apart

Jessica Biel also admitted to being “exhausted,” but has remained positive and hopeful that the family will get through the time apart. Their goal is to find the time to “connect and see each other in person,” she said.

Biel further noted:

“I’m already exhausted. There’s been four shows. I don’t know how he is going to do it, I don’t know how we’re going to do it, but we’re going to get through it: somehow, some way!”

Jessica Biel also shared snippets of family life and her plans for the summer in another interview. On Live with Kelly and Mark, the actress told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that while Timberlake is busy on tour, they make sure to spend time together during his breaks. Biel said:

“When he has his breaks, we’ll hang out and try to do something that’s relaxing and fun. He has to relax. We can’t mess around.”

The actress also shared that she and their kids went to the NSYNC member’s Vancouver show and gushed about the kids being “so hyped” and decked with the merch.

Jessica Biel shared the same in an Instagram post, featuring photos of their two kids wearing the tour’s merch plus a snap of her and Justin Timberlake.

She captioned the post:

“It’s a family affair y’all.”
