While it seems that there's no shortage of subjects around the world for movie topics, recent claims reveal that a movie based on Donald Trump's assassination attempt is being discussed. The news comes from producer John Peters, who said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he was working on a Donald Trump assassination attempt movie with JFK director Oliver Stone.

Right after this news broke out, Oliver Stone quickly denied being involved in the project. However, this news stirred up the cinema fanbase and in quite a fun way. It seems that fans couldn'y stop themselves from engaging in the conversation, with many coming up with hilarious responses to the relatively tiny incident that could hardly be the subject of a feature-length movie.

X user @fluffyonEth summed the fan response up, saying:

"Lmao that would be a YouTube short."

Many added their own slice of humor and thought.

"A movie about an "assassination attempt" that resulted in a tiny knick in trumps ear? Jesus Christ." - Another user said.
"That might win an award for most boring movie of the year" - another user added.
"The amount of propoganda in this will be insane" - an user noted.
"What is there to make a movie about?" - another user commented.

While it's quite certain this movie is not happening, it's certainly interesting to see fans react to Peters' latest comment about the movie. If someone were to make a movie on this subject, it seems fans would be very opposed to it.

Why is there news about a Donald Trump assassination movie?

The news of a movie based on Donald Trump's assassination attempt, which has people debating all around it, surfaced after producer Jon Peters reportedly claimed in his latest profile with The Hollywood Reporter that he and Oliver Stone were discussing making a movie about the infamous assassination attempt on the Presidential candidate.

Since then, director Oliver Stone has clarified that he wasn;t involved in this project and is, in fact, not discussing any project with Jon Peters.

This doesn't come as a huge surprise to those who know Jon Peters. The producer is notorious for his bold and inauthentic claims that have had media and fans wondering.

In the same interview, Peters also explained his conspiracy theory about Biden arranging the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. He even described the non-existent movie in his words:

"The story begins with Trump as a little boy and Biden as a little boy. And you start to see how Biden was obsessed with Trump, who was always movie-star good-looking and rich."

As Stone has already confirmed, this is only a rumor that doesn't really have any basis.

So, while fans can debate over the movie, a Donald Trump assassination attempt movie is perhaps never going to be made. And if it's so, it should lead to another hearty set of reactions.
