Danny Trejo has been trending for some time after he was spotted getting into a physical altercation with an individual during the 4th of July parade. The incident which happened in Los Angeles was recorded on camera and the clip has been receiving a lot of attention online.
The viral clip shows the Machete actor in his car as he arrived at the Sunland-Tujunga parade when his vehicle was hit by a water balloon thrown by a random person from the crowd. The 80-year-old actor came out of the car immediately and although he tried to attack the individual, his attempts were unsuccessful.
This was followed by a fight where Danny Trejo fell to the ground and he even threw a chair. The man who had thrown the water balloon also fought another man until a few others leaped on top of him, and the other attendees intervened in an attempt to break up the fight.
The video has led to different reactions from the public on X (formerly Twitter) since it was posted. One of them wrote:
"The man thinks he lives in his movies."
Several X users criticized and poked fun at Trejo for trying to create an issue because someone threw a water balloon at his car.
"It was a water balloon", a user wrote.
"80 years old…… going all in for a water balloon", another user wrote.
"Needs to learn how to have some self-control, it's a water balloon, who cares. Letting someone else get under your skin like that isn't a good look", a third user wrote.
Others expressed their support for Trejo's actions in the video.

The recent scuffle at the parade in Los Angeles reportedly continued for around 10 minutes until the cops arrived at the place. However, things were settled by then and no one has been arrested or charged until now. The entire dispute was recorded by an eyewitness on his phone.
The video even featured a woman who was trying to stop Trejo from fighting. Another witness named Stanley Herrarte told ABC 7 that water balloons are commonly used in this event and added:
"The reason why Danny was so infuriated was because usually people don't throw water balloons at fancy cars when they come by."
While speaking to Fox 11 Los Angeles, a third witness, Arnie Abramiam said that Trejo did not intend to hit anyone at the parade. Furthermore, Arnie revealed that Trejo came to the place with his friend Mario Castillo, who was also punched in the video. Arnie continued:
"Punches were thrown. People fell down. Blood everywhere. I think Mario [the] gentleman got hit. They cut his eye open."
Danny Trejo has not shared any response regarding the event. Further details are currently awaited from his representatives.
