Ryan Reynolds doesn't mind having little ones "running around" and "wrecking stuff" at home as he recently opened up about the possibility of expanding his and Blake Lively's family.

While on the press run with his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman on E! News for their latest movie, Reynolds said that he and his wife would consider having baby number five. He said:

"The more the merrier."

The Hollywood couple are now parents to four kids, James, Inez, Betty, and the fourth baby they welcomed in 2023. They haven't revealed the gender and name of their fourth baby, and the couple's popstar friend Taylor Swift hasn't featured the name on her song like she did with their first three kids.

Talking about possibly expanding his family with the Gossip Girl alum, Ryan Reynolds added:

"As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let's have more!"

It wasn't the first time that the A-list couple had expressed interest in adding another one to their family of six.

Blake Lively jokingly shared via her Instagram Stories on July 11 that the Deadpool actor is "trying to get [her] pregnant again" alongside footage of her husband with the dog in his latest Deadpool & Wolverine film.

Ryan Reynolds says his kids love Hugh Jackman

During the same interview, Ryan Reynolds dished on his kids' close relationship with Hugh Jackman, jokingly saying that they prefer The Greatest Showman actor over him, their father. He mentioned:

"My kids prefer everything Hugh to me."

The Deadpool star noted that his kids watched The Greatest Showman, where Jackman was the ambitious mastermind P.T. Barnum, and it changed things for them as they became huge fans. Reynolds added:

"They watched The Greatest Showman more than the editor for The Greatest Showman."

Ryan Reynolds also recalled an instance where he found his kids enjoying a live performance from the famous showman himself, saying:

"And sometimes, I come home and this guy's actually acting it out with them and that's kind of amazing."

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are currently doing press tours to promote their latest film Deadpool & Wolverine, which is set for a movie theater release on July 26 in the US.

During one of the press runs, Reynolds told Today hosts Hoda Korbin and Savannah Guthrie that TTPD hitmaker Taylor Swift won't make a cameo in the movie, putting an end to the rumors that Swift may be making an appearance in the film.

While he said that the pop star is "one of the funniest people" he knows and would be "very good" to have in the movie, she sadly won't be in it.

And when the X-Men actor joked that the Look What You Made Me Do singer is Ryan Reynolds' family nanny, the Deadpool actor noted that Swift isn't the "cheapest" babysitter.
