Actor Tyrese Gibson recently revealed he no longer spends money on real jewelry. The 45-year-old sat down with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, to discuss mental health and being real. When host Charlamagne the God asked the Fast & Furious star if his earring were real, he replied, "No," and added:
"You know why it’s not real? Because I’ve lost so much of this sh*t. I done spent half a million dollars on a f*ucking watch."
He continued:
"I don't lose no sleep over trying to win the popularity contest showing up with all this jewelry that I’ma leave on the nightstand and have a housekeeper that says, 'I don’t know!' I'm sure you don’t know where them f*cking $250k earrings is at!"
Elsewhere in the interview, he unclasped a bracelet he wore, adding that none of the jewelry on his arm was real. Tyrese noted that he bought the bracelet on Amazon for $23.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor-singer boasts an estimated net worth of $4 million.
