WATCH: Alec Baldwin punches protestor's phone in coffee shop after relentless heckling 

A video of Alec Baldwin punching a pro-Palestine individual’s phone inside a NYC coffee shop after persistent heckling has been making the rounds on social media.

The clip was initially posted on X by Crackhead Barney & Friends on Apr. 23. Baldwin was called a “white devil” in the caption, and the user further claimed that they were attacked by the actor while trying to get coffee.

The woman recording the video walked towards the actor who was on the phone while in front of the counter. At the beginning of the clip, the woman asked him:

“Alec, can you please say, ‘Free Palestine’ one time? Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time. No jail time, Alec. No jail time, Alec.”

One staff at the coffee shop approached the woman and politely tried to convince her to leave. But she continued her persuasion, leading to Alec Baldwin throwing a quick punch to the camera.

A few other accounts on the platform that reposted the video wrote that the actor smacked the camera after being harassed and not the other way around, as claimed by the original post.

Heckler asks Alec Baldwin to say "Free Palestine" on camera

The woman with the camera told the Beetlejuice actor:

“You’re putting innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin. Free Palestine, Alec. Just one time and I’ll leave you alone. I’ll leave you alone. I swear. Just say, ‘Free Palestine’ one time.”

By that time Baldwin walked to the entrance to the store, opened the door and gestured the woman to leave:

“Get out now, get out.”

However, the woman kept asking him to say “Free Palestine”. The actor then asked the store employee to call the cops, as the woman was "harassing" him. At that, the woman addressed the employee and told him:

"You know he's a criminal. You know he's a f***ing criminal."

She supposedly referred to Baldwin facing a lawsuit concerning the Ukrainian cinematographer Halyna Hutchins getting shot on the set of the movie Rust, which caused her eventual death.

She turned the camera towards the 66-year-old actor again and further pressed:

"Come on Alec, just say, ‘Free Palestine’ one time. One time, just one time please, and I’ll leave you alone."

The actor responded with a "no". However, the woman additionally asked him to say:

"F**k Israel. F**k Zionism. Please say it."

Baldwin eventually entered the store again. While asking the employee for a quick favor, he threw a punch at the camera.

Several netizens spoke in favor of the actor and said that the woman "had it coming".

Few others wrote that they don't generally like Baldwin, but in this scenario, they would support his action. Some said that the woman deserved it.
