Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2, which is expected to be released in July 2025, reportedly has a cameo appearance of rapper Eminem. Sandler recently appeared on The Dan Patrick Show, the episode of which was released on December 6. During the conversation, Adam himself revealed about the cameo.

He said:

"Eminem was cool. He came by, he was great. I’ve known Eminem for a long time, he’s a great guy and he came in and was funny as hell."

The actor further added:

"I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and he was insane. He said a million things we can use and a million that we’re glad we have him on tape."

This wasn't the first time that Eminem was going to appear with Sandler. The rapper made a brief appearance in Sandler's 2009 movie Funny People.

While Adam Sandler confirmed Eminem's involvement in the upcoming film, he didn't reveal the extent to which the rapper could be seen. During the interview, Sandler revealed that several other celebrities like retired golfer Jack Nicklaus would also have a cameo appearance in the movie.

As previously reported by The Rolling Stone, a lot of other A-listers like Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, and Margaret Qualley would also be seen in the movie in guest roles. For those unaware, Happy Gilmore 2 would be a sequel to the popular 1996 comedy film Happy Gilmore.

Happy Gilmore 2, which is written by Adam Sandler will be debuting on Netflix in 2025

As aforementioned, Adam Sandler stated during the conversation on The Dan Patrick Show, that the release date is yet to be decided. He added that the team was trying to do it in July 2025. He said:

"I don't know 100%, but I think around July. Not July 4, but we're trying to get it done in time for July. (But) you never know what's going to happen. We're just finishing today."

The 1996 movie cast several well-known stars including Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, and Allen Covert, to name a few. All these faces could be seen again in the much-awaited movie, which is set to be released next year and has already finished its filming.

USA Today further reported that Adam Sandler revealed multiple information about the cast and cameos, even though he wasn't supposed to do "any press" about the movie. The revelation was first made earlier this year, by McDonald who stated that Sandler had shown him a "first draft" of the script.

It was later stated by Sandler during the latest interview that McDonald was not expected to reveal the information publicly. Adam Sandler further mentioned:

"He texted me after the fact, 'By the way, that thing you told me not to talk about, I talked about.'"

Fans too have expressed excitement with the upcoming release.
