According to a report by Fox News dated December 14, 2024, actor Jamie Foxx was injured during an altercation at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills while celebrating his 57th birthday. Jamie's spokesperson told the news outlet that the incident occurred on the night of December 13, 2024, while the actor was dining at Mr. Chow.
The spokesperson's statement read:
"Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called, and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands."

The actor mentioned not remembering the 20 days that he was hospitalized, recalling that his doctor told his family that Jamie might be able to make a full recovery, but it was going to be the worst year of the actor's life.
