Amber Heard, The Aquaman star, 38, confirmed her pregnancy through a representative, who shared the news exclusively with People on December 5.

"It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige," the spokesperson stated.

Amber Heard, who is raising her 3½-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige Heard as a single mother, previously revealed her journey to parenthood. She welcomed Oonagh on April 8, 2021, and shared the announcement three months later via Instagram.

"Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms," she wrote at the time.

The actress also expressed her hopes for normalizing women making independent choices regarding motherhood.

Amber Heard is set to welcome a second child

Oonagh, whose middle name, Paige, is a tribute to Amber Heard's late mother, has been central to the actress's life since her arrival. Heard often shares glimpses of her life as a single parent on social media, calling herself "just the mom and the dad" and referring to Oonagh as her "mini me."

In January 2024, Heard posted behind-the-scenes images from the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom set, featuring a rare moment with Oonagh. The little one joined her mother on set as she prepared for her role as Mera. Heard has also celebrated with her daughter, describing Oonagh's first six months as "the best" of her life and calling her first birthday "the greatest year."

Amber Heard has not disclosed details about the father of her second child, maintaining the same level of privacy she upheld with her first. When Oonagh Paige was born in 2021, Heard shared that she decided to become a mother "on her own terms." Paige was born through surrogacy, which was confirmed by Heard's representative to Page Six in July 2021.

The actress was previously married to actor Johnny Depp, with whom she endured a highly publicized defamation trial in 2022. Following the trial, Heard chose to move abroad, seeking peace for herself and her daughter. In May 2023, Heard and Oonagh were seen enjoying their new life in Madrid, Spain, where they live in relative privacy.

Director Conor Allyn, who worked with Heard on In the Fire, praised her dedication as a mother, calling her "such a dedicated mom" who always makes time for Oonagh.

The actress remains private about details regarding her pregnancy but is reportedly "excited" for Oonagh to take on the role of a big sister.

Regarding her legal case with Johnny Depp, the 2022 defamation trial resulted in a jury ruling largely in Depp’s favor, awarding him $10.35 million in damages. Heard was also awarded $2 million in a countersuit.

The case concluded in December 2022 when both parties reached a settlement, with Heard agreeing to pay $1 million to Depp, which he pledged to donate to charity. This settlement marked the end of their lengthy legal battle, allowing both to move forward with their lives and careers, as stated by Vanity Fair in an article published on December 19, 2022.

As of now, Amber Heard is currently focusing on her family life in Madrid, Spain, while maintaining her acting career. Her most recent film, In the Fire, a psychological thriller directed by Conor Allyn, was released in 2023.

She also reprised her role as Mera in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which premiered in early 2024. While no additional projects have been officially announced, Heard remains active in the entertainment industry.
