What is the plot of Oddity?

The movie Oddity is about Ted and Dani, who are a married couple, renovating an old Irish country house. One night, Dani, alone in the house, is terrorized by a stranger, which in turn leads to her sudden and violent death.

However, Ted, who is a doctor, moves on quickly, finishing the renovations and moving his girlfriend, Yana, into the house. Ted and Yana, both unpleasant and arrogant, carry on with their lives.

A year later, we find Dani's twin sister, Darcy, blind but very perceptive, entering the scene. Her unprecedented entry subsequently unsettles Yana. Darcy, who owns an antique store filled with supposedly cursed objects, becomes central to the unfolding mysteries. Her presence brings tension and supernatural elements to the story.

Thereafter, Darcy gifts Yana a wooden "witch doll" with strange objects inside. When Yana touches them, Darcy becomes furious, revealing a deeper, more menacing side.

Furthermore, the climax reveals the true nature of Darcy's power and the reason behind Dani's death, culminating in a series of violent and eerie confrontations.

"When Dani is brutally murdered at the remote country house that she and her husband Ted are renovating, everyone suspects a patient from the local mental health institution, where Ted is a doctor. However, soon after the tragic killing, the suspect is found dead.
