Paul Walter Hauser spoke to the CinemaBlend journalists while promoting Inside Out 2, where he commented on Vin Diesel and asked the reporters not to “say that,” when he got compared to the Fast & Furious actor.

The whole incident happened after a CinemaBlend interview told Paul Walter Haiser that he is “like Vin Diesel now,” because of his character arc in the animated Inside Out 2. To this, Paul Walter Hauser said:

“Please don’t say that. I like to think I am on time and approachable. I love people, but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who get paid really well and mistreat people…I out them constantly, and it’s a blast.”

Paul Walter Hauser and Vin Diesel have not worked together previously. After hearing Paul’s statement for Diesel, his co-star, Lewis Black, started giggling. However, Paul Walter Hauser did not clarify what made him form such an opinion about Vin Diesel.

Pixar Studio’s Inside Out 2, an animated film came out in Los Angeles on June 10, 2024. The rest of the country got to see the movie in theaters on June 14, 2024. The movie is a sequel to the 2015 Inside Out, which became a success amongst the masses.

Many insiders in the past have also claimed that Diesel is often late to the set: Details explored as Paul Walter Hauser passes comment on the F&F star

As Paul Walter Hauser spoke openly about Vin Diesel’s unprofessional conduct, social media users recounted many instances when other actors and members of the production crew revealed how Diesel was often late on the set.

Huff Post stated the same and talked about the one insider on the set of Fast & Furious who claimed that there were many times that Diesel was late, which left the rest of the actors and crew agitated.

The source said:

“There were several times Vin was late to set and it really started p*ssing Dwayne and other cast and crew off. Dwayne was always on time for shooting. It was Vin who would often show up when he felt like showing up. Dwayne is the complete opposite. At the end of production, Dwayne was really over Vin’s bullsh*t.”

Huff Post also mentioned Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s feud, which allegedly took place because of Diesel’s unprofessional attitude. The fiasco took place years back, in 2016, when Dwayne slammed his “male co-stars” for not acting like “true professionals.”

While Johnson did not name anyone in particular, the publication revealed that sources close to Dwayne revealed that Johnson’s bashing was for Vin Diesel.

Social media users are now reacting to Paul Walter Hauser’s statement as some have sided with the actor, while other fans bashed Paul Walter Hauser for his comments on Vin Diesel. However, at the moment, Vin has not responded to Paul’s thoughts about him.
