How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies got its theatrical release on April 1, 2024. According to Thai media and GDH, the production company, it became the highest-grossing Thai film of 2024. It also became the 11th highest-grossing Thai film of all time with a whopping ฿339 million box office collections nationwide. This Pat Boonnitipat-directed film was also a hit across borders in countries like Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Myanmar.

Written by Pat Boonnitipat and Thodsapon Thiptinnakorn, the plot of How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies revolves around a college dropout taking up the responsibility of his ill grandmother with the hidden intention of getting a multi-million dollars inheritance. However, his desire to become the apple of the eyes of the grandmother to become the inheritor turns out to be challenging, as his perceptive and intelligent grandmother also proves to be hard to impress.
More to his hardship, he finds himself in a competition with others to win his grandmother's favor before time runs out.
The true stories of the daily personal life of the writer and director duo are reportedly the inspiration behind the story of this film.

Usha Seamkhum took up the role of Mengju, a 79-year-old woman living alone with late-stage colon cancer. Thai-Chinese singer and actor Putthipong 'Bilkin' Assaratanaku stared in the role of M, the low-on-money university dropout who put aside the dream of becoming a game caster to take care of Mengju.
The film also stared Sarinrat Thomas (Jear) as Chew, Mengju's only daughter and M's single mother, Sanya Kunakorn (Duu) as Kiang, Mengju's eldest son, Duangporn Oapirat as Pinn, Kiang's wife, Himawari Tajiri as Rainbow, Kiang and Pinn's only daughter, Pongsatorn Jongwilas (Phuak) as Soei, Mengju's youngest child and as M's little cousin Mui, Tontawan Tantivejakul (Tu).
This film marked the first feature film of the director of the mini-series Bad Genius (2020) and TV series Project S the Series (2017), Pat Boonnitipat. This film is also the first film to have Usha Seamkhum and Putthipong 'Bilkin' Assaratanaku in leading roles.
