Chad McQueen, the popular actor and producer tragically passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the age of 63. His longtime friend, Arthur Barens, confirmed the news of his passing and stated that Chad McQueen passed away at his ranch in Palm Island due to organ failure.
On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter also stated in their article about how Chad had injured himself on a set in 2020, and never fully recovered. As the actor passed away, his children, Chase and Madison released a statement remembering their father and stated:
“His remarkable journey as a loving father to us, along with his unwavering commitment to our mother, truly exemplified a life filled with love and dedication. His passion for racing not only highlighted his exceptional talent but also served as a way to honor his father’s legacy, a testament to the values instilled in him.”

The actor began his career as Dutch in The Karate Kid, where he is the main antagonist and a member of Johnny Lawrence's gang. He also appears in prison with Johnny later in the movie.
He then appeared in many other movies like Fever Pitch, Martial Law, Death Ring, Jimmy Hollywood, Red Line, New York Cop, Papertrail, and The Fall.

The martial arts film directed by John G. Avildsen was released in June 1984. In the movie, the Cobra Kai Dojo gang, comprising Bobby Brown, Tommy, Jimmy, and Dutch, were constantly seen bullying Daniel, the 17-year-old who had moved from New York to Los Angeles. Further in the movie, Dutch was shown to be in prison, for various crimes.
Born in December 1960, Chad McQueen was also a trainer martial artist, and race car driver. Being the only son of actor Steve McQueen, Chad was excessively enthusiastic about acting, bikes, racing, and even automobiles.
The actor was so interested in motor racing, that after he took retirement from acting, he appeared on various TV shows, like Hot Rod TV and Celebrity Rides, both of which were related to motorsports.
Chad McQueen was married to Stacey Rae Toten, from 1987 to 1990. After the couple parted ways, Chad married Jeanie Galbraith in 1993. The actor has three kids, one with Stacey, and two more with Jeanie. Family has not yet revealed the details about his funeral and memorial services.
