Gena Rowlands, the actress best known for her movie, The Notebook, has tragically passed away at the age of 94. The news of her death was confirmed by her son’s agent, who stated that Gena passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 202, at her home in Indian Well, California.
The news of her death came just two months after Gena’s son, Nick Cassavetes, disclosed that his mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Gena was known for her ace acting skills, as she was a part of many movies and TV shows, including The Brink’s Job, Two-Minute Warning, Love Streams, Light of Day, Paulie, She’s So Lovely, Yellow and many more. During the years of their marriage, Gena and John did more than 10 films together, like A Child is Waiting, Faces, Machine Gun McCain, A Woman Under the Influence, Two Minute Warning, Opening Night, Tempest, and even Love Streams.
