American actor Pedro Pascal recently celebrated the release of his epic historical action film Gladiator II. Directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott, the film stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Fred Hechinger, Joseph Quinn, Derek Jacobi, Lior Raz, and Connie Nielsen. It also serves as a sequel to the 2000 film Gladiator.

On November 13, Pedro Pascal attended the premiere of Gladiator II in London with his sister Lux Pascal. Coordinating in all-black attires, the two posed together at the U.K. capital's Leicester Square on the day of the premiere.

Lux Pascal is the youngest of the three siblings of Pedro Pascal. An up-and-coming model and actress, Lux Pascal studied theater in Chile before graduating from the Juilliard School in New York City in 2023. The 32-year-old is best known for her appearance alongside Pedro Pascal in Narcos and roles in Spanish films like La Jauria and La California.

In February 2021, Lux Pascal came out as a trans woman in the cover story of the Spanish magazine Ya. In the feature, she opened up about her hormonal therapy, revealing that she had started undergoing the treatment in July 2020.

Talking about her family, Lux revealed that they have been extremely supportive of her transition. According to her, it was something that they had already expected and was therefore very natural to them. Lux also added that it didn't cause her anxiety to look at her own photos before the transition.

"It doesn't make me anxious to see old photos of myself,” she explained, “The same thing happens to me with theater: I see someone who was doing what they liked."

Actor Pedro Pascal has been supportive of his sister ever since she came out as a trans woman in February 2021. The Last Of Us star shared the photo of Lux Pascal's Ya cover story on his Instagram. In the caption, the actor wrote:

"Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux." which translates to ""My sister, my heart, our Lux."

In the interview for the cover story, Lux expressed her gratitude to her brother, who is seventeen years older than her. She also highlighted the importance of Pedro as a guide in both her personal and professional life.

"He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity," she revealed.

Talking about the first time Lux came out to Pedro Pascal, she recalled doing it over FaceTime. Initially, her brother was a little worried but instantly congratulated her when Lux explained that she was happy with the development.

"Perfect, this is incredible," Lux reiterated Pedro's words when she came out for the first time.

Pedro Pascal has always been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community in real life and on social media. In an interview with Esquire, which was published by the outlet on April 11, 2023, Pedro opened up about his relationship with Lux.

"I wouldn’t want to speak on her behalf, but she is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known. My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me," Pedro said of Lux.

The Esquire interview happened at the time when the Florida State Senate joined 12 other states in approving a ban on gender-affirming care for minors. Additionally, the Education Department had proposed a change limiting transgender participation in high school and college sports.
