Born on September 7, 1989, in Toronto, Canada, Scotty opened his YouTube channel Scotty Dynamo, back in 2008, with a video titled "Scotty Dynamo - Cars, Glamour, Fame, Money." The YouTube star was raised in Canada and gave a glimpse of his parents for the first time in a 2014 video titled "MY PARENTS DANCE TO TAYLOR SWIFT."

theBUZZ magazine reported Macklemore and his "ability to laugh at himself and [not] take himself too seriously." influenced Scotty. In the same article, Scotty said being a DJ had helped him in the creative process. The artist began meddling with music when he was only in the second standard.

YouTuber Scotty Dynamo took to Instagram to pay tribute to his late husband, Mike Heslin

Well-known YouTuber Scotty Dynamo, whose single Show Me Yours became a hit and garnered a huge amount of views, penned down a heartfelt note for the late actor Mike Heslin on Instagram. In the post caption, Scotty wrote,

"On July 2nd, my husband, best friend, and soulmate Mike Heslin passed away from an unexpected cardiac event after a week long battle in the hospital. Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened..."

Scotty also wrote,

"Michael, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. You are my world. You are everything to me. When I felt you took your last breath, my heart shattered into a million pieces..."

Scotty concluded the post by writing,

"Michael, in the words of Shania Twain: I'll love you forever and for always."

Fans took to the comment section of the Instagram post to express their condolences to the grieving family of the late actor. The couple had been quite open about their relationship, and Scotty had posted several photos of them together over the years. This included photos of their honeymoon in Tulum and a Valentine's Day photoshoot with each other.

Scotty and Heslin were together since 2018, and they got married in November 2023, less than a year ago. Scotty noted that the late actor died about three weeks before his 31st birthday. The grieving husband further described his late partner as being "brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel."
