Who is Zackary Momoh? All about Lashana Lynch's husband as James Bond star announces pregnancy

Actress Lashana Lynch and her husband Zackary Momoh are currently expecting their first child together. The British actress announced her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump on the red carpet at the October 17 premiere of her most recent television series, The Day of the Jackal, in New York City.

She showed up at the event wearing a sleeveless dress, with cutouts on the sides and a leopard print on the sides and bottom, and a T-shirt and tie print on the chest. Lashana also wore shoes by Louboutin and a pair of plain gold hoops by the brand.

Lashana Lynch's husband, British actor Zackary Momoh, was born in July 1988. He worked in theater before starring in his first feature film, A United Kingdom (2016). He is also well-known for his work in the Netflix murder drama Seven Seconds (2018) and the HBO fantasy series The Nevers (2021).

Zackary Momoh, Lashana Lynch's now-husband was born in the Borough of Lambeth in South London. He previously achieved success on the British stage by choosing to pursue a career as an actor. Initially, he started attending the Identity Drama School of Acting twice a week for acting training while he was a college student studying business marketing.

Momoh developed his abilities and solidified his dedication to the acting profession there, ultimately signing with an agency and making an important change in his career path. Momoh's focus remained on stage for a long time, but in 2011, he got his first TV part with a small appearance on Holby City.

He was then scouted to be Adrien Lester's understudy in a production of the same play at the National Theatre in 2013 while he was working in Othello in a small theater in South London. After performing in From Morning to Midnight at the National Theatre, Zackary Momoh co-starred with Robert Sean Leonard in To Kill a Mockingbird at the Barbican in 2015.

At this point, Momoh decided to pursue a career in film more seriously. He stopped doing new theater work and instead tried out for TV and movie parts, eventually landing the recurring role of Manni on No Offense in 2015. Momoh transitioned to American productions in 2018, appearing in the gripping thriller Seven Seconds on Netflix, which explored racial tensions between the police and civilian population.

Before joining the cast of the eagerly awaited Joss Whedon series The Nevers (2020), Momoh starred in the Harriet Tubman biopic Harriet (2019) and the action drama The Kill Team (2019) with Alexander Skarsgard.

On February 23, 2018, he spoke to The Italian Reve about his love of acting and said,

"I think I've always wanted to perform. When I was a kid I was in a talent show doing acting and dancing and I wanted do act, professionally. It was like: this is where I'm going to make money…or, even, if I don't make any money, I'm going to do it."

Then while discussing the kind of character he enjoys portraying, Momoh remarked,

"I'd say it would be a lead role in a movie that provokes thoughts about a relationship, whether it's a father-daughter, father-son or a husband and wife. Something that provokes emotions in me and in the audience."
