Actor Armie Hammer addressed claims of cannibalism and abuse against him. During his appearance on Pier Morgan Uncensored on Friday, July 19, 2024, the Man for U.N.C.L.E. actor was questioned about the allegations, to which he replied:

"You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten someone."

When Morgan further asked if he had ever "eaten any human flesh," the 37-year-old actor replied:

"No. Not a question I'd ever thought I'd have to answer by the way. But no, never."

For the uninitiated, in early 2021, several women came forward with allegations of misconduct, including sharing messages where the actor allegedly showed interest in BDSM, cannibalism, and claims of r*pe and violence by his former girlfriend. Since the claims, Hammer exited several movies and was dropped by his publicist and talent management agency.

"This was a very intense affair"- Armie Hammer admitted to having an affair with his accuser while married to his ex, Elizabeth Chambers

During the interview, Armie Hammer opened up about the allegations and how they affected his mental health. In January 2021, the Instagram account House of Effie anonymously shared posts accusing the actor of misconduct.

In a press conference in March of the same year, Effie Angelova (the woman behind the IG account) accused Hammer of s*xually assaulting her and committing other acts of violence in a four-hour incident. She alleged that the actor abused her "mentally, emotionally, and s*xually." She claimed to have dated him on and off for four years.

In addition to Effie, another ex-girlfriend, Courtney Vucekovich, told Page Six (January 2021) that her romance with the Call Me By Your Name actor was like "dating a wannabe Hannibal Lecter." Vucekovich also recalled an incident where he allegedly told her that "he want(ed) to break (her) rib and barbecue and eat it."

While the Hammer has denied any criminal wrongdoing, he admitted to emotionally abusing his former partners. The slew of accusations pointed to the actor having multiple affairs while being married to his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers. Armie Hammer was married to Chambers from 2010 to 2023, and they share two children: daughter Harper, 9, and son Ford, 7.

When questioned about Angelova, the actor told Piers Morgan:

"This was a very intense affair, very s*xually charged, between two people with very similar proclivities and kinks."

He continued:

"Any of those conversations that we had inside of that relationship, when you take them outside of that context and put them into broad daylight, it doesn’t look so good."

Armie Hammer also addressed the cannibalism rumors, stating that they were born out of a desire to want someone "completely" and "totally" that you want to eat them.

Paige Lorenze, whom Hammer began dating in September 2020, had also accused him of branding her with a knife on her pelvis. Talking about the claim, the actor told Morgan:

"Just like the tip of a small knife. I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape. It’s along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other"

Hammer confessed that the repercussions of her accusation made him contemplate suicide, adding that he decided against it for his children. At one point during the interview, the actor asserted that none of the people were hurt because he pushed any s*xual boundaries.
