Oscars 2025: Full list of nominees 

The much-awaited Oscars 2025 nominations have been announced by the Academy this morning. There has been a considerable delay in the nomination announcement this year due to the Los Angeles area wildfires but we now have the full list of nominations.

Leading this list with 13 nominations is Emilia Pérez, which is a crime musical that follows the story of a cartel leader who undergoes a gender transformation surgery. Karla Sofía Gascón plays the lead role in the movie and she has made history by being the first transgender woman to be nominated in any acting category. She faces tough competition from Cynthia Erivo for Wicked and Demi Moore for the horror movie, The Substance. The complete list of nominations for Oscars 2025 is explored below.
