Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare is an upcoming British horror film written and directed by Scott Jeffrey. It is the third installment in The Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU) and presents a terrifying retelling of J. M. Barrie’s classic tale.

Distributed by Iconic Events, the movie is slated to hit theaters on January 13, 2025, for a limited weekend run. The movie contains scary and nostalgic elements, with Martin Portlock playing Peter Pan and Megan Placito portraying Wendy Darling. Wendy sets out to find her brother Michael, who has been taken by Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, and save him.

The leading stars are joined by Kit Green, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, and Charity Kase. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on February 8, 2023, director Scott Jeffrey mentioned that Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare will give well-known characters a dark spin by building "a twisted alternative reality.” He added that Tinker Bell will look like someone who is "recovering from drugs."

Martin Portlock takes on the role of Peter Pan, the menacing antagonist of the film. Martin has previously worked in various horror projects. He was born in England in 1982 and spent most of his childhood studying art and design.

He recently starred as Owen in the comedy-horror movie Wolf Manor, alongside James Fleet. He also played Aaron in Dolly Alderton's BBC adaptation of Everything I Know About Love, co-starring Emma Appleton.

Martin made a guest appearance on ITV's Britain's Got Talent 2022 as The Witch. His performance went viral on YouTube and the video has since garnered over 5 million views.


2) Megan Placito as Wendy Darling

Megan Placito plays Wendy Darling, the brave protagonist leading the mission to rescue her brother. Megan has gained recognition for her roles in independent films and short dramas. Other than Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare (2025), she took part in Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble (2025) and The Salt Path (2024).

Kit Green embodies Tinker Bell, depicted as a "recovering drug addict" in the film. Hailing from London, UK, they won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment in 2004 for a theater show Duckie's C'est Barbican!, which they co-wrote with a group of other artists.

Ian Hill played music for the show, which took place at the Barbican Pit. Kit also appeared as The Pathfinder in Dragon's Dogma II, a video game that came out in 2024.

Peter DeSouza-Feighoney portrays Michael Darling, Wendy’s younger brother and the catalyst for the story in Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare.

Peter DeSouza-Feighoney was born in London, UK, in 2011, in a family of Irish and Portuguese ancestors. As a child artist, he debuted in The Pope's Exorcist.

According to his biography on IMDb, Peter is good at martial arts and has a 1st Dan Black Belt in Goju Ryu Karate. As a model, he has worked with well-known brands and walked the runway for House of iKons Fashion Week London.


5) Charity Kase as Captain James Hook

Charity Kase takes on the iconic role of Captain James Hook. Kase is a drag artist who is famous for appearing on season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

She grew in Lancashire and became famous for her bold and creative drag looks while working at London's The Box club. She worked with Wildcat Gin in 2021 and then went on tour with Anubis Finch. She also hosted the Circus of Horrors UK Tour in 2024.


6) Teresa Banham as Mary Darling

Teresa Banham reprises her role as Mary Darling in Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare, previously seen in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Teresa Banham is a British actress who works in both TV and theater.

Teresa previously played Broadfell Prison Governor in the first part of the Doctor Who Christmas special, The End of Time. Fans also recognize her as Rebecca from the TV show Robin Hood. In 2012, she played Sor Sebastiana in the first production of Helen Edmundson's The Heresy of Love by the Royal Shakespeare Company.


7) Nicholas Woodeson as Steven

Nicholas Woodeson plays Steven, a character yet to be fully explored in the storyline.

According to his biography on IMDb, Woodeson was born in Sudan to British parents and grew up in Israel. He then moved to England and studied at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) after acting in plays in school and college.

As a notable theater artist, he has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Broadway, and West End production, performing in shows like Death of a Salesman and The Audience. He has appeared in movies including Skyfall, The Danish Girl, and The Death of Stalin. His TV roles include Rome, Foyle's War, and Taboo.

Kierston Wareing appears as Roxy in Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare. Kierston is renowned for her roles in gritty dramas and thrillers.

Born on January 7, 1976, in Britain, Kierston debuted with a 2007 film titled It's a Free World..., helmed by Ken Loach. Later, she was featured in Fish Tank, for which she won both a BAFTA and a Cannes Jury Prize.

Kierston played lead roles in TV shows like The Runaway, The Take, Luther, and The Shadow Line. She also portrayed Kirsty Branning in EastEnders, a supporting antagonist named Ashley Davidson in Hollyoaks, and Delilah in The Bible.

Production and direction

Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare is directed by Scott Jeffrey, who is known for his work in creating unique horror narratives. The screenplay is crafted by Jeffrey and Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the producer behind The Twisted Childhood Universe's previous films.

Jagged Edge Productions has collaborated with ITN Studios for this project. Vince Knight takes care of the film's entire cinematography. Principal reportedly photography began in London in May 2024, with Jeffrey sharing updates on social media.
