Sean Diddy is reportedly currently in the same prison dormitory at the Metropolitan Detention Center (M.D.C.) in Brooklyn as Sam Bankman-Fried.

On September 17, 2024, Diddy was arrested on multiple charges, including s*x trafficking, racketeering, and providing transportation for prostitution. He has been held at the detention center for over a week after his bail plea was denied. Diddy's attorneys proposed a $50 million bond and a surveillance team to monitor him, but the judge declined the request.

Bankman-Fried was the founder and CEO of the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency company FTX. On March 28, 2024, the business tycoon was convicted of fraud, stealing $8 billion from its customers. Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison and on August 2023, he was sent to the Metropolitan Detention Center.

With the two controversial figures sharing a dorm-style room, users across the internet are creating comic book memes on the internet. The duo is even being compared to Riddler and Penguin, the supervillains from Batman Comics. One netizen on the social media platform X shared,

A New York Times article, published on September 24, reflected on the comments given by Sean's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, who said:

Operated by the Federal Bureau of Prions, the M.D.C. hosts both male and female prisoners at different security levels. Currently holding almost 1200 detainees, Sean's legal advisers on his arrest provided disapproval of the confinement for being overcrowded, with minimal facilities.

According to an NBC article, published on September 24, 2024, the prison has a special barrack-style area for high-profile individuals, separated from the common prison population. This special security cell has reportedly hosted notable prisoners like R. Kelly, Martin Shkreli, Fetty Wap, Ghislaine Maxwell, and even the ex-politician Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado.

As per the New York Times, Bankman-Fried described the cells to be inadequate, notably with the stabbing and killings of Uriel White and Edwin Cordero, this June. The crypto lord is a vegan and is reportedly consuming brown produce, beans, half-cooked rice, and peanut butter. While Diddy recently shifted to the arrangement, he is mostly avoiding taking prison foods, for quality and safety concerns.
