Marvel Studios released an official teaser clip for Deadpool & Wolverine on July 16, 2024. It has many short scenes and moments from the film, slated to release on July 26, 2024. However, one shot in particular caught fans' attention. Many believe the movie will introduce Lady Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Many fans are hoping and formulating theories that Blake Lively will play the new variant since she is Ryan Reynolds' wife, and seeing their interaction on screen would be very interesting. However, this rumor has not been confirmed by the studios and is just a part of fan theories.
The film's main story focuses on the superhero teaming up with the Wolverine as they fight a common enemy together.

The series of clips consists of a camera panning up the character's suit and cutting off right before her face is revealed. The character also has a holster with a signature gun, indicating a link to the iconic superhero.
Many netizens are forming theories that this could be Blake Lively. On the other hand, some people hope for the new character to be essayed by pop star Taylor Swift. Both the actress and the singer have massive fan bases that hope the respective idols will be a part of the film.
Marvel Studios has, as always, revealed nothing about the character's identity. The speculations about the casting remain unconfirmed.

In the upcoming movie, Hugh Jackman will appear as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool. Jackman was first introduced in the X-Men series film Wolverine (2000) and has since been integrated into the mainstream MCU storyline.
