Bjørn and Louise's fate at the end of Speak No Evil explained
The film opens with a Danish family, Bjørn with his wife Louise and daughter Agnes, encountering a fun-loving Dutch family, Patrick with his wife Karin and son Abel, on their trip to Tuscany. After hitting it off, Patrick invites Bjørn's family to spend the weekend at his house in the Netherlands. Not long after arriving, the Danes witness Patrick's hot temper and abusive behavior towards his son, Abel.
Despite feeling uncomfortable, they stick around so as not to offend their hosts. Time and time again, they ignore their gut instinct telling them to call out Patrick and Karin's questionable behavior. Bjørn ultimately realizes the Dutch couple's real identity as serial killers and child abductors, while also understanding that his family is their next victim.
Shocked to his core, Bjørn leaves right away with his daughter and wife, who are unaware of the couple's true identity. However, Patrick catches up with them in his car and takes the family hostage. Bjørn and Louise are taken away to a secluded place and stoned to death. In his last moments, Bjørn pleadingy asks him why he is doing this. To which, Patrick replies in a chilling tone, "Because you let me."
The film serves as a cautionary tale about being non-confrontational to a fault.

What happens to Agnes and Abel?
A few hours before his death, Bjørn wanders around to a nearby cabin and discovers several pictures of Patrick and Karin with other families and their young kids. But it is when he finds Abel's body drowning in the pool a few minutes later, that Bjørn finally pieces the whole story together.
In addition to learning about his hosts's true identity, Bjørn also finds out that Abel is not their real son, but the son of their previous victims. The homicidal couple cut off his tongue to keep him from exposing their truth.
In the film's climax, Bjørn and his family are taken hostage. Karin cuts off Agnes's tongue as her parents watch in horror. The murderous couple spares Agnes's life, and she is taken away by their accomplice, Muhajid. This heartbreaking scene conveys that Agnes' fate will follow the same path as Abel's. Patrick and Karin will introduce Agnes as their mute daughter to their next victims, much like they did with Abel.
The movie's final scene shows Agnes traveling with the nefarious couple to the countryside in search of their next victims.
Plot summary
Bjørn and Louise spend their weekend at Patrick and Karin's house in the Netherlands. However, their plans of enjoying a relaxing weekend soon turn into a nightmare after they realize their hosts are hiding a dark secret. The Danish family finds themselves becoming victims of the notorious serial killers and child abductors.
The getaway horror film highlights how Bjørn's reluctance to take a firm stand puts his family in harm's way. His politeness, a key Danish trait, keeps him from proactively protecting his family, even in the face of danger. His family, especially his daughter Agnes, ends up paying the price for his inaction.
