The Beast: Full list of cast in the movie

On September 3, 2023, The Beast (French: La Bête), written and directed by Bertrand Bonello, was released at the prestigious Venice International Film Festival as part of its 80th-year celebrations. Following its release at the film festival, the movie was made available to French audiences on February 7, 2024. The movie was then later released in Canada on April 19, 2024, and in the United Kingdom on May 31, 2024.

Léa Seydoux plays Gabrielle in The Beast. She works at a centre where her job is to read the temperature of data cores. But, she is quite unhappy with her job. She wants to be better off than she currently is and for the same, she seeks assistance from a clinic that specialises in DNA purification. The process when successful, exterminates human aspects such as emotions from humans and makes them better suited to the cutthroat job industry that flourishes on materialism and practicality.

Léa Seydoux is a prominent face in the French and American film industries. Fans might recognize the actor from Blue Is the Warmest Colour (2013), No Time to Die (2021), and Dune: Part Two (2024).

George MacKay plays Louis, Gabrielle's romantic interest in the film. Gabrielle and Louis first meet at the DNA purification centre. Following their brief meeting, they only meet in each other's past lives while both are undergoing the process. Through several decades in their past lives, they form a romantic bond, mostly an unrequited one.

George MacKay is a British actor. You may know him from Private Peaceful (2012), For Those in Peril (2013), and 1917 (2019).
