Jason Statham plays Adam Clay, the lead role in the film. He is a beekeeper and resides as a tenant in Eloise Parker's barn. After Parker commits suicide following a fraud that makes her lose all her money, Adam is the first person suspected of her death. However, it is later revealed that he had no hand in it and he helped Eloise's daughter, Veron, to bring Parker to justice.
