The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (2024): Full list of cast

Based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Barbara Robinson, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a movie about Herdman children, who are known as the notorious worst kids in town. They decide to participate in the annual church Christmas pageant, much to the community's dismay.

In The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Grace Bradley takes charge of running the pageant. Even though notorious, Grace decides to give the siblings a shot which starts a series of comedic and heartwarming events. The story is narrated through adult Beth's thoughts on her childhood memories.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever was released in theaters on November 8, 2024.

Grace Bradley offers to be in charge of the small-town church's production of its 75th annual Christmas pageant. Her work get complicated quickly when the infamous Herdman siblings become interested in participating in them.

Judy Greer is an actress who appeared in such films as Ant-Man (2015), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), and television series including Arrested Development and The Kominsky Method.

2) Beatrice Schneider as Imogene Herdman

Imogene is the eldest and most vocal of the Herdman siblings. Her character is depicted as the one who always speaks her mind. So, she gets the protagonist role of Mary in Pageant.

Beatrice Schneider has appeared in Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum (2019-2024), The Boys (2019), PAW Patrol (2013-2022), Blue's Clues & You! (2019-2022), The Lost Symbol (2021), and Pinecone & Pony (2022).

3) Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez as Charlie Bradley

Charlie is Grace’s son, who feels frustrated by the disruption caused by the Herdman siblings. Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez has appeared in Legion (2015), The Magicians (2017), The X-Files (2018), Deepa & Anoop (2020), CoComelon Lane (2023), Wonderoos (2023), The Baby-Sitters Club (2020), Nancy Drew (2021).

4) Kynlee Heiman as Gladys Herdman

Gladys is the youngest of the Herdman siblings, who plays the role of the Angel in the Pageant. Kynlee Heiman has been a part of All Saints Day, Red Lilies, Sally, Get the Potatoes, Family Ornaments, Open Casket, and Building Blocks (2024).

5) Pete Holmes as Bob Bradley

Bob is Grace's husband, who supports her and assists in teaching his kids empathy lessons through community service. Pete Holmes is renowned for his stand-up comedy specials Impregnated with Wonder (2011), Faces and Sounds (2016), The Devil (2013), Nice Try, Dirty Clean (2018), and I Am Not For Everyone (2023).

He also appeared in The Pete Holmes Show (2013-2014), Crashing (2017-2019), How We Roll (2022), and Family Switch (2023).

6) Lauren Graham as Adult Beth

Lauren Graham plays adult Beth, who narrates all the action that goes on with the pageant and what ensues in her family. Lauren is known for Sweet November (2001), Bad Santa (2003), The Pacifier (2005), Evan Almighty (2007), Max (2015), Joshy (2015), The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (2021) as Alex Morrow.

Molly Belle Wright plays the role of young Beth, who observes how the Herdmans change at the pageant.
