The Clean Up Crew starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Melissa Leo, Antonio Banderas and Swen Temmel is scheduled for release on VOD on August 20, 2024. The action crime thriller film is written by Matthew Rogers and directed by Jon Keeyes. It's produced by Yale Entertainment and Hail Mary Pictures and distributed by Saban Films.

The Clean Up Crew follows the lives of a group of people who are a part of a crime scene clean-up crew. All hell breaks loose when they find a briefcase full of money during one of their outings. Determined to keep the cash, they devise clever schemes to outsmart a criminal leader and a few dishonest FBI agents.

1) Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Alex

Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays Alex in The Clean Up Crew, one of the main members of the crime scene cleaning group, which is at the heart of the film.

He's the one who discovers the briefcase full of money in the chimney first and suggests they don't part with it, setting off a chain reaction, attracting goons and authorities alike.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is an Emmy-nominated actor best known for his work in Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Elvis (2005) and Damascus Cover (2018).

2) Melissa Leo as Siobhan

Melissa Leo plays Siobhan, another pivotal character in the film. According to the movie trailer, Siobhan and Alex appear to be in agreement on most topics, indicating a mutual understanding between the two. Siobhan also seems to be taking the role of the mother of the group but not in the conventional manner one would expect.

Melissa Leo is an Academy Award and Emmy Award winner. Some of the works she's best known for include The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), Frozen River (2008) and The Fighter (2010).

3) Antonio Banderas as Gabriel

Antonio Banderas plays Gabriel, the criminal honcho the clean-up crew must avoid crossing paths with if they want to keep the money they have retrieved, for themselves. As depicted in the film's trailer, Gabriel is dangerous and is after the people of the cleaning group.

Cannes Film Festival Awardee Antonio Banderas is best known for his contributions to projects like The Mask of Zorro (1998), Genius: Picasso (2018) and Pain and Glory (2019).

4) Swen Temmel as Chuck

Swen Temmel plays Chuck in The Clean Up Crew. Chuck almost mirrors Alex's personality and is awed by him, something that can be told from the things they do together on the run from people who want revenge for keeping the money they accidentally stumbled upon.

Swen Temmel is best known for his work in The Young and the Restless (2010), Castle (2013) and The Bay (2019-2023).
