Based on James O'Barr's supernatural superhero comic book series of the same name, The Crow is scheduled for release by Lionsgate Films in the United States on August 23, 2024. It is written by Zach Baylin and William Schneider and directed by Rupert Sanders.

It is produced by Pressman Film, Davis Films, The Electric Shadow Company, Ashland Hill Media Finance, Hassell Free Productions, Media Capital Technologies, and 30West.

The Crow features several well-known actors including Bill Skarsgård, FKA Twigs, Danny Huston, and Laura Birn. The movie's plot centres around Eric / The Crow portrayed by Skarsgård, as he goes after those responsible for killing his fiancée Shelly(played by FKA Twigs), and him.

Bill Skarsgård plays the titular character in The Crow, also known as Eric. Having been murdered by a group of assailants, Eric is hell-bent on seeking revenge from the people responsible for his and his fiancée Shelly's demise following his resurrection.

A Shooting Stars Awardee at the Berlin International Film Festival, Bill Skarsgård is best known for his contributions to projects such as Simple Simon (2011), It (2017), and Barbarian (2022).

2) FKA Twigs as Shelly

FKA Twigs plays Shelly, Eric's girlfriend in The Crow, Shelly was murdered along with Eric by a group of miscreants. However, as seen in the trailer for the film, when the resurrection takes place Eric is the only one to be brought back to life, while Shelly remains unalive.

A recipient of the Best New Artist Award at the MTV Video Music Awards, FKA Twigs is best known for Honey Boy (2019), Sad Day (2020), and RuPaul's Drag Race UK (2022). In Music FKA Twigs is one of the most celebrated artists of all time, having won awards at prestigious events such as the AIM Independent Music Awards, BET Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.

3) Danny Huston as Vincent Roeg

Danny Huston plays Vincent Roeg an underworld kingpin who is the main person responsible for Shelly and Eric's killing. Due to his status, he is nearly inaccessible to those attempting to reach him, but due to Eric's increased abilities after coming back to life, it becomes simpler for him to infiltrate through his main team of supporters.

Nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film, Danny Huston is best known for Ivans Xtc (2000), The Constant Gardener (2005), and Hitchcock (2012).

4) Laura Birn as Marian

Laura Birn plays Marian in the film. Marian is Vincent Roeg's right-hand woman. As can be seen in the trailer, she is the one who informs Roeg that Eric has been resurrected from the dead and that he is now seeking vengeance for the crimes that were committed against him.

Nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Actress Laura Birn's most well-known projects include Helmiä ja sikoja (2003), Lupaus (2005), and Purge (2012).
